Hi,

First off, it doesn't matter where you or me are from. It's always a better
idea to ask the mailing list. This is definitely an RTAI issue, so I'm
forwarding your email to the mailing list in the hopes that somebody would
have a better answer.

Configuring the Linux kernel for RTAI is always tricky. I encouraged
developers to gather their common knowledge [here](
https://github.com/ShabbyX/RTAI/wiki/Kernel-configuration), but there was
not much participation. That said, I'm not aware of any script that would
make the process automatic. As a matter of fact, configuring grub is the
smallest of your problems.

However, John Morris did something even better than the script. He built
debian packages for RTAI (
http://mail.rtai.org/pipermail/rtai/2014-July/026437.html) which means all
you need is an `apt-get` line and you are good to go (it takes care of grub
too). The email is more than 2 years old, and I don't currently know if
there is an updated version. Given that it was based on my repo on github,
and that I haven't got around to updating it, I have a feeling the debian
packages are also old. Still, they are a lot more up-to-date than your
current setup.

Hope this helps and best of luck,
Shahbaz
