Hi, thanks for your help. Actually I have already read the paper "Early Experience with an Implementation of Java on RTLinux", which mentioned that there are mainly two ways to run a Java program on RTLinux platform. The first is to program the hard real-time part of the application in C/C++, which is executed by RTLinux, and program the soft real-time part in Java, which is executed by Linux. These two parts communicate with each other mainly through RTLinux FIFOs or shared memory. The second approach is to port a Java Virtual Machine to the RTLinux environment, which is the focus of that paper. Now I want to know more information about the first approach. Do you know where I can find it.....? Totally have no idea about it. Thanks again. Ke Tang On Fri, 7 Jan 2005 08:30:18 +0100 (CET), Der Herr Hofrat <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello, > > > > 1.
