Totally have no idea about it. > Well I would say the first approach you are mentioning is simply the default method for RTLinux programs - splitt it along the hard/soft realtime criteria - put the hardrealtime part in C modules and with the soft-realtime you can basically do anything. For the specifics of putting soft-realtime into java I'm a bit supprised that this should be particularly suited for even soft-realtime, atleast normal java - there are some RTJave (The NIST published a requirement for a Real-time Java platfrom), and there are a few implementations of such extensions you can find on the net - but I realy know of no particular reason why Java should be suited for softrealtime systems in any way. hofrat _______________________________________________ Rtl mailing list [email protected] http://www2.fsmlabs.com/mailman/listinfo/rtl
