Problems Bulk Publishing

Hi, I'm using ccm with Aplaws+.
 
I'm new to redhat ccm but have managed to import the  generic content using
the ItemImportTool, all goes well but I cannot get them to bulk publish with
ccm-run com.arsdigita.london.util.cmd.BulkPublish.
 
This seems to go through and initialise, then just hangs.
 
If I go back into ccm I have to unpublish the ones it's tried to do, and
republish them before they show up.
 
Any ideas?
