-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hello, Some half a year ago I posted the following message to [email protected]. Since then, nobody from Red Hat, Inc. replied to the list nor to me directly. IS ANYBODY FROM RED HAT, INC. READING THIS LIST? THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR TIME ANSWERING MY QUESTION! So far, I have tried the following option to contribute to Red Hat distribution. * ftp://contrib.redhat.com/ doesnt's sport an /incoming directory * ftp://incoming.redhat.com/ doesn't seem to have a /libc6 directory (while it does seem to haev a /libc5 directory, as of today) * http://rhcontrib.bero.org/ seems to work - I got some (automated) feedback, and it seems to accept my package on Jan 3, 2002. However, nine months later this package is not visible anywhere. With no more than three messages since January this year, this list seems deserted as well. Is there anything wrong with Red Hat, Inc.? Mandrake people were happy to grab the package from the provided URL and themselves changed its Group to fit their hierarchy, within a day or two! Incoming.redhat.com or upload.redhat.com don't resolve to an IP number, and rhcontrib.bero.org appears to be a black hole, where packages get accepted, but never come up anywhere... There is no README message at contrib.redhat.com telling us the procedure to contribute, either.
