xhost ?

hi,

i am a newbie and try to run an erlang application under fedora, but now 
i have a problem...
error code:
 >X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
 >X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

i have tried to fix it by using xhost + ...but it doesnÂ´t work .. i have 
tryed xeyes -display otherhost:0.0

it works with other linux versions ...please give me some help how it 
will work...
