I pushed version 45.0.3 which should properly run on KDE right after 
self assigning the ticket.

  This time, the default wallpapers uses lossless JPEG XL wtih embedded 
Display P3 which
should gracefully fallback to sRGB. Tested on the latest update Fedora 
44 KDE Edition running via Gnome Boxes.

  It turned the issue occurred when using lossy JPEG XL.
