Firefox doesn't start a session:

 $ firefox
fails to start a screen session, though it does start a lot of processes
   $ pgrep -f firefox | xargs ps

But:
 MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=0 firefox
works as expected.

Evidently wayland and firefox don't like each other. Has anyone else
seen this? I'd like to get some further responses before filing a formal
bug report.
