Ich habe noch dieses gefunden:

Und habe eine Datei /etc/environment angelegt mit dem Inhalt:

CLUTTER_PAINT=disable-clipped-redraws:disable-culling
CLUTTER_VBLANK=True

Ich habe nicht wirklich verstanden was es tut, aber es geht jetzt.
