Hello!

In my first message (3c905-TX NIC problem) I described my problem.
Now I've got some additional info. Maybe it will help in resolving.

As I said before, I have a 3C905 NICs in Intel SR870BN4 Servers, that
doesn't work properly. The driver sees a NIC, interface rises up, but
network does not work.

I have tried to ping one node from another. ping says, that host is
unreachable. After that, ifconfig said there are some transmitted
packets and bytes on an interface. But ifconfig on pinged host said
there were some received bytes, BUT ZERO received packets! Besides,
number of receive overruns, was equal to number of sent ICMP packets.

Now, AFAIK, receive overruns happen when packets received faster than
the kernel can process them on IRQ. So, how can I find out, is
everything alright with NIC's IRQ?

Best regards,
