RHEL3 63bit,using openmp, got system error(22)

when i using openmp to parallel my program ,=20

icc -openmp  tect.c

, and run the program: ./a.out
i got the following erros:

system error(22): __kmp_create_monitor: pthread_create
 Invalid argument
abort: fatal problem

I know the compiler is icc, not gcc. But ,i think the
problem is not about the compiler or my souce, I don't
know clearly if it is just becauce of my operation
system--- RHEL3 64bit, update 2, and how can i do to
resolve the problem.

I installed all the softwares on the 4 RHEL CDs.

Does anyone  meet the same problem as me?Any advices
are welcome~~
