MS Exchange to Redhat Linux Migration

Dear All,

I am planning to migrate our MS Exchange to Redhat Linux 
but have no complete info/materials to do it.

Please, anybody give me a list of things that I have to 
consider before doing this. Ex, What Redhat version (is 
the new version ok now, without any bugs) should I use? 
Also what e-mail system is the best? How can I easily 
transfer/copy content of our users mailboxes to the Redhat 
mailbox?
