RH8: added CD/RW drive, now CD doesn't work

RH8 workstation install, I just added a Sony CDRW and it detected fine
and now I can play CDs on it, but not the original CD player. It worked
before I added the CDRW.

The CD player is on its own IDE cable, jumpered to master.

Here's some info from dmesg:
