Re: Problems with takeover even though master is online

Can the backup see the primary? For example can you ping the primary from
that backup? And, is the service (or services) you are monitoring 
running on the
primary?

P.S. Can you post your 'piranha' config file, it may also be helpfull.
        And, do your primary and your backup, have the same config?
