Greetings

Hello all-

	I have a cluster of a few machines running 2.4.20 with the ipvs mods.

	Primary LVS box is running well, and I'm trying to get the failover
box going. This had to be rebuilt due to hardware issues.

	Now, when I start pulse, I get the following (from messages):

Mar 13 08:35:49 lvs02 pulse: SIOCGIFADDR failed: Cannot assign requested address
Mar 13 08:35:49 lvs02 pulse: SIOCGIFADDR failed: Cannot assign requested address
Mar 13 08:35:49 lvs02 pulse: failed to bind to heartbeat address: Address already in use
Mar 13 08:35:49 lvs02 pulse: pulse: cannot create heartbeat socket. running as root?
Mar 13 08:35:49 lvs02 pulse: pulse startup failed

	This is on the failover box (backup). The interfaces are configured correctly, and
I can ping the Active lvs box on both sides. LVS is running as root, so I presume that it's
not permission related. Being that there are two occurences, I'm assuming that it cannot
create the faux interfaces eth0:1 and eth3:1 (on this setup).

	Does anyone know where this would originate from? I've spent a few hours trying to
get at it, but no avail... yet...

Piranha on it is of the 0.7 flavor.
