Hi Peter, Please find the answers below for queries you asked regarding my setup. Problem still remains same.I have to try my maximum to make it work in Redhat 8.0 However I will have to adopt 7.3 Errata kernel in case of no luck. Please tell me how to update RedHat 7.3 Kernel errata for LVS to work. I believe you could help me. Thanks a lot for your excellent support !! Ans:Just http (port 80). Later I will have to run Apache/Tomcat combination on real servers which is the ultimate aim. Is there any change needed in latter case. What does your NAT Router table look like? Type ipvsadm -Ln or -L Ans: IP Virtual Server version 1.0.4 (size=65536) Prot LocalAddress:Port Scheduler Flags -> RemoteAddress:Port Forward Weight ActiveConn InActConn TCP 151.8.35.100:80 wlc -> 192.168.0.2:80 Masq 2000 0 0 -> 192.168.0.1:80 Masq 1000 0 0 and see what the result is, and post it here. Did you setup an /etc/rc.d/rc.lvs script per the http://baitz.com/lvs.html documentation for setting up the NAT table ? Ans: I haven't setup rc.lvs script. Is it necessary as long as we are going to start services manually? Are you using pulse with two Piranha load balancers? In other words, do you start lvs with pulse, or lvs directly? Do you even see the lvs daemon loaded, and the nanny daemons loaded to service each port ? Check with "ps afx" Ans: I am starting LVS with pulse.
