crtscts?

hi all
This is regarding my previous mail( compiling pppd).....why didn't I get =
ppp interface if crtscts option was used!!!

 the man page says if none of the options viz.,crtscts,nocrtscts,cdtrcts =
and nocdtrcts r used then the h/w flow control for serial port is left un=
changed!!

So if I deleted the option crtscts...then the setting wud still be there!=
!
 Am I missing something?
