You might have to set your ftp client for "passive mode" since you are using iptables. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gerry Maddock Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2003 3:38 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Wu-Ftp Did you restart xinetd after setting wu-ftpd to allow connections? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2003 3:30 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Wu-Ftp I have Linux 7.3 and Wu-ftp 2.x running but cannot connect from "inside" or "outside" the network. I get "Cannot connect to remote server socket error 10060". I have the iptables set to allow traffic on ports 21,23,1024 as per advice from other linux users but still get the same error. Any help would be appreciated.
