Just a clueless (l)user. I was in KDE hitting random alt+ key combo's 'cause I was bored. Caused a hella nasty crash. After two weeks of trying to fix it via various fs fixing utilities that I already had installed, I just backed up what I could to an extra drive (which was already mounted) and formatted and re-installed.
