A question about X.

Dear all,

I met a problem with my RH7.2 box. Hope somebody can kindly help me out.

I think it is about the X or the Desktop (KDE/GNOME). The problem is the
machine usually (happened per 1-3 days) goes into a status that there is no
response from the X Windows system at all. All the stuff on the screen
stopped. There is no response too when I pushed the "Num Lock" button. But
some services are ok (apache http service, ftp service and etc).

I don't know what is wrong, all I can do is restart it. After restart, it is
fine again. I installed the Ximian desktop a long time ago. I am not sure if
the problem is from Ximian desktop. Does somebody can give me some advice on
what can be the problem? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
