Hello Michael,

Can you tell us your motherboard config? It is commonly seen with 
Mercury motherboards.

Also, which section of the hard drive e.g. after how many 
cylinders have you installed Enigma?

This is a common, though mostly ignored problem. A possible 
solution can be using a third party boot-loader. An XP dual boot 
generally works. But this is strict trial and error.
