SMB Server Quit?

I had Samba up and running on my Linux box (RedHat v9).  My Win98 box
could see it, it could see my Win98 box, and I could transfer things
back and forth.  Went away for the weekend.  Came back this evening, and
samba seems to be running, but the Win98 box can't see it.  If I click
the little red hat, then "Network Servers", I get the complaint:

Couldn't display "smb:///", because Nautilus cannot contact the SMB
master browser.
Check that an SMB server is running in the local network.

What the...???  I've rebooted a couple of times, and tried restarting
the smb service.  No dice.  I tried deleting my shares and recreating
them.  Nada.

Any ideas?  Should I go to the samba website and d/l the latest and
greatest version?  What's going on here?
