IPTables replaces IPChains with enhanced functionality, so of course Red
Hat firewalls still try to limp along with the IPChains emulation.
http://ipmasq.cjb.net/ is another interesting site. I recommend you visit
both.

I am wanting to move to a Linux based solution for my
firewall/NAT/caching etc.  I am reading some stuff online about such
topics and I am find several people talking about ipchains, and other
talking about iptables?  First of all, what is the diff?  Secondly is
there one product I should be using over the others?
 
Any suggestions would be great!
