	I am a newbie too. I went to version 8.0 of redhat and 
that solved my problems. I started with 7.0 and couldn't get 
the Xconfigurator to run my card ATI 32 LE. Ver 8.0 picked it 
up as an ATI generic 32 card and it works fine. You might 
check RH hardware to see what is supported in what 
version. Hope someone can offer a better solution.
