Can someone help a newbie?

     I just partitioned my hard drive and installed Red Hat 7. The problem that I 
have is that my ethernet card, my sound card and my video card are not supported. I 
have tried to configure them several times with the X-configurator, but no luck. 
The devices are as follows: Compaq 10/100 Fast Ethernet,Creative Sound Blaster PCI 
16, and ATI Rage II+DVD Mach 64. I managed to get the GUI to work by removing my 
video card but would like to put it back if possible. I'm new to the command line, 
so please be very specific if it's necessary to work in text mode.
