red hat 7.0 vmware win 98 guest not working! Help

To all,

I know this is not a regular topic here, but, I have tried VMware's website, google, linuxnewbie.org. and vmware's newsgroup list also. 

I have vmware 3.1.1 installed into Red Hat Linux 7.0. I was able to install the guest os WIN 98SE without a problem, I also installed vmware tools without a problem.

But, when I try to go into full screen mode in my win98 (vmware guest os) my Linux and vmware machine freeze up to where I have to reset the machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
