RE: RedHat 7.0 client to W2k Network

Alright, I know all the required IP addresses (DHCP, DNS, Gateway, Subnetmask)for our W2k Network
We use a W2kDHCP server.
The ethernet card on the RH7 workstation is supported and I have admin Account on the NW.
How do i connect to our W2k LAN (I tried netconf to configure but the changes cant be activated)
Im also very new to Linux and have little experience with the command line and there isnt much on the internet to solve this particular problem.
