One more thing. It seems that there are files in sysconfig that must
be created by the installer. To get a description of the contents of
the /etc/sysconfig look at
/usr/share/doc/initscripts-6.67/sysconfig.txt

However, on second thought I see that many are in the
initscripts-6.95-1.i386.rpm
Unfortunately installing this rpm installs other things that you
might not want to overlay and many of these files contents depends on
your machine invironment and would have to be edited by hand.
Do:  rpm -ql initscripts-6.67
to see what files this rpm contains.
