New motherboard and video card

 The motherboard had to be replaced. The new motherboard works with
the Linux 7.0 in text mode perfectly. But, xwindows won't start up.

Can I use the original REDHAT Linux 7.0 installation CD's to install
the new hardware? I've been told that it is compatible with LINUX.
But, can I install the correct drivers(s), using the original CD's without
overwriting my files?
