good to know...this mythological beast of a bug still haunts a lot of
user nightmares, so it seems.  Not ever seeing this bug myself I can not
confirm nor deny anything with regard to this issue.  Has the fix been
available in the stock kernel tree before 2.14.19, that would also be
interesting to know as a piece of conversational trivia.
