Wow! I thought I was doing good with 2.4.20-pre.
Last I looked 2.5.x wasn't usable for day-to-day stuff.
I missed 2.6->2.13 completely :)

Seriously, though. Grab the SRPM and compare Mandrake's kernel
to Red Hat's. Red Hat (and probably Mandrake) have somany
patches to the base kernels It's hard to tell what changed.

I do 'rpmbuild -bp' on each and diff the scsi and usb
driver directories. It's probably a USB change, but it
might be scsi. It also might be the partition scanning.
