Thanks. My biggest question now is will the thing work with (Null) / Red
Hat 8.0? According to their website, Promise says their new Serial ATA
controller is fully software compatible with their earlier Parallel ATA
/ ATA133 controllers. That said, there are no Linux drivers available
for download on their site except for their most basic and obsolete
hardware.

Guess I'll just have to give it a try when I get my new motherboard
tomorrow and then report back here when it's done. I can always fall
back to the ATA133 controller, which is known to work.
