sorry, I couldn't resist...

Actually, I'm guessing you're right - the vast majority of Red Hat
users won't notice much of a difference.  I don't like the ugly, large
bottom panel, ala KDE and Windows that Red Hat made the default even
for GNOME, but you don't hear me screaming.  I just accept that
consistency is more important than petty quibbles, delete the panel,
add a menu panel, and I'm happy.  No big deal.
