Isn't this the same guy who worked for Mandrake for a while? IIRC, he was 
doing a distro focusing on cimpiling for CPU architecture optimizations and 
Mandrake hired him circa Mandrake 6.0?. He did beroftp and some other stuff.

Same guy?
