 However 2/3rds of the packages are unchanged from null+updates, (of the
700 odd packages on my null box only about 200 had different version
numbers in the final version), so null will give you a pretty good idea,
and I bet most of the differences are bug fixes rather than feature
changes. I believe I have enough packages to update my machine to 8.0, and
my User Mode Linux virtual machine is running a rather minial copy of 8.0
(except for one package where I couldn't be bothered to resolve the
dependencies).
