nice lack of info...

also we see quite a few people using things like emulex binary
only modules with AS; the AS kernel has quite a few scalability
enhancements (which are locking changes etc), while I don't have proof
(obviously) I get the impression that not all such modules have
been adapted to the different code.... which results in Bad Stuff(tm).
