Ah, one of my favorite tangents to go off on. ;-)

I have to wonder, what was MSFT thinking when they put a top-level close
button on the window in the first place? Closing a window is done
exactly ONE TIME during the lifetime of a window, compared to minimize,
mazimize, and "restore", which may be done dozens of times. Yet there
is no way of lowering a window in the stacking order with the Windows UI
-- not even an obscure, inconvenient, or hard way like with metacity (hi
Havoc).
