But you want to rule out the possibility of using KDE packages period? A home user might want to use say guarddog to configure and maintain there firewall? sorry cant be done it requires KDE which your distribution doesnt have available. I would have great difficulty using me system without gnome library's. there are alot of great programs out there that use QT/KDE but you dont want or use any of them and think that all redhat users dont have the choice for themself but should use there system as you see fit? what happened to the freedom of choice you get from linux?
