True enough, but with the average new car costing in excess of
$25,000, and the average used care probably in the range of half that
(maybe more), the minutes spend in each activity may cost you roughly
the same.  So the car question is just as fair.  And I really doubt
y'all complain quite so loudly about that particular issue :-)

And yes, I spend more time computing than driving.  And my home
systems total more than my somewhat "older" car.  But then again, so
too do other purchased goods in my life.

Nonetheless, the price difference between 8.0 Personal and
Professional seems to have generated an inordinate amount of traffic.
What happened to the discussions of real merit: e.g., Why "(null)"?,
Whose desktop icons look worse, Gnome's, KDE's, or Red Hat's?, etc.

The list has gone dead (as in void of meaningful discourse) with the
impending release.  And we all KNOW many of the same bugs pointed out
in the beta will still be there in the release.  So too the features?
Why not chat them up instead?  Are we really THAT bored?

It's all making me yearn for the "first post" submission to the
pysche-list, whenever they open it for business.
