Has anyone had any luck recording sound from a microphone using
gnome-sound-recorder? I sure haven't. Tried all sorts of mixer
settings, tried installting the ALSA drivers, and using two different
microphones. Nothing seems to work.

I've also found it crashes if you close the window while a wav file is
playing. I've created a bug report via bug buddy for that one and once
I know the bug number, I'll file it under Red Hat bugzilla since a bug
report has already been opened, it just lacks a backtrace.

FWIW, I'm using the C-Media 8738 sound chip built in on my MSI KT4 ultra
motherboard and sound works great under OSS and ALSA drivers.
