Re: samba //prod/IPC$ password

Thanks for the help.  The problem turned out to be that samba unless setup 
otherwise uses clear un-encoded passwords and win98 uses an encoding scheme.
I added an item to the win98 registry to allow sending passwords in the clear 
and it started recognizing the proper password.  BB
