Run 'nfsstat -m' on the Solaris 9 host and see which mount options it's
using to mount your Dell. It may be that the newer Linux kernel
advertises capabilities that are actually making the performance
worse. :) For example, I don't know if rsize and wsize of 32768 is
ideal when mounting an RHEL NFS server. Those values work great against
Netapp filers and other Solaris servers, but I'm pretty sure Linux
prefers smaller values.
