What Update was the original install version? I have had an issue where
the box was installed with an earlier update of RHEL 3 that didn't recognize
dual core/hyper threading so the non-smp kernel was installed. Then doing
an upgrade to the Update that does, only "upgraded" the kernel I already
had installed. Had to manually install the smp kernel and then everything
was fine from there.
