Dual bootnormally ip address on DHCP services are assigned using MAC addresses as a priority , ever wonder why u still get the same IP even if there is DHCP services on the server and hundreds of machines .MAC address is the answer so u definately get the same IP

  Hope this is not a stupid question..if I build a machine with linux & windows ie dual boot,if my machine is configured for dhcp

  It won't have two ip address?, both operating sytems will have the same ip is this correct, any tips on configuring dual boot will be appreciated.
