You don't want to run the init script named squid with the parameter '-k reconfigure'. You want to run the squid binary itself with the '-k reconfigure' option. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of DineshKumarG Sent: Tuesday, July 30, 2002 10:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Squid -k Reconfigure not Working Hi All, We have Redhat Linux 6.2 as gateway machine and use squid-2.3.STABLE1-5 We Restrict user rights for Internet using Squid proxy,If i want to Add = a personthat is give right to someone we make Changes and give a command /etc/rc.d/init.d/squid -k reconfigure but now this is not Working suddenly. now we use /etc/rc.d/init.d/squid restart ,Because of this squid stop = for 2 minutes so the Internet access goes off for all in that 2 = minutes.I need to avoid this.Pls Help me..
