I'm working on a similar repository of packages for legacy versions of 
Redhat providing the latest in Python (2.3.3).  Initial support starts 
with Redhat 7.3, then 9, then FC1.  When Python 2.4 comes out, support 
will start for FC2.  This repository requires coexistance with existing 
versions of Python.

Anyway, I'm extending an invitation--if you're not already a part of 
it--to subscribe to [email protected].  I'd like to exchange 
ideas with you, if not work directly with you.  In the meanwhile, I'll 
be looking to release a test repo for general consumption in the near 
future.
