Hrmm... I am actually not sure I understand the difference between what you
are referring to and the existing --server switch. 

Is the difference to basically to allow a user to build a distribution out of
the defined FTP servers and server_lists? If this is so, I can see reasons
that this could come in handy, but it still seems a bit redundant since I
could do this with the --server argument.

Give me an example where you would use this...

I honestly have never used up2date. I am actually torn on it. I never liked
the idea that you have to register and possibly pay for more then one system
you use, but I think that they deserve some money for everything they have
done for the Linux cause... Dilemmas!

Sorry to seem difficult on this. I do appreciate your input, and I want to be
crystal clear on this before going forward on it.
