Hi Greg, Greg Kurtzer wrote: > Move your /etc/grab/config file aside, and just run 'grab' with no arguments. > It will rewrite the config file, and will try to automatically figure out what > values to use there. I did this and grab replaced '/etc/grab/config' with a version that had the erroneous comment line in it (as it was before, with "rpm opts = #rpm opts#"). I moved my modified config back to '/etc/grab/config' and it works. I forgot to mention this is a new install of RH9, not an upgrade. > I have been thinking of having RPM handle the /etc/grab/* files instead of > GRAB (so the config files would be part of the RPM). Does anybody have any > thoughts on this? I don't know for sure, as I don't know exactly what would be gained or lost by this change, but it may just move the possibility for error from 'grab' to the RPM build config files. I like simplicity, so I guess I'd rather look at 'grab' alone for possible errors. Please assign the lightest weight possible to my comments as I am relatively new to 'grab'. Thank you much, Troy
