Sorry for the > misunderstanding, but if I still did not get it please try again. ;^) I mean to say that I ran 'grab --sysupdate'; chose only a few packages from the list of 350+ upgrades available (out of 1200 or so packages in the repository). it downloaded and installed those packages (I think... memory is a bit fuzzy here... it might have failed on some package error or another). it then showed a list of over 1000 packages, which appeared to be a list of all the packages in the repository. (I think the numbers went to 999, then started over again and went to 189 or so; which would be about the total number of packages in the repository). this is grab-2.4-gmk1 with rpm-4.0.4 once I get done with some jobs; I'll see if I can capture the behavior in a typescript.
