Hrmm... Interesting.

The chooser freaks out a bit when showing more then 1000 packages (for a
stupid reason of me not allocating enough space on the screen for more then 3
digits). If you use the -E (--expand) option it should not stop at 999 then
start over again.

Actually, I thought I understood what you were asking, then I read it again
after I wrote my response and I am still unclear what you mean. I left my
response just in case my initial response was correct. Sorry for the
